As expected, the National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WATCH for the entire area from Thursday at 12 a.m. until Saturday at 6 a.m.
Heavy snow and strong winds will likely create whiteout conditions. A Blizzard Warning is possible later this week.
To make matters worse, wind chills will plummet to -30° and could create life-threatening conditions for anyone stranded outside.
